Speaking of trauma
I have actually not enjoyed a csm chapter ending this much in a while
The return of snow bringing back the memory of a snowball fight and the cold of his old life
And the boat, possibly Charon’s boat bringing Denji’s family to the after world, which he sees because he misses them

More than likely that’s the snow devil
It could be that the Aging devil’s realm of no devil powers makes it so Denji couldn’t keep it in, and he’ll spit out all the devils (including part of Yoru) eventually
Or Denji broke with venerability, and his trauma is physically resurfacing

These reasons never have to be massive things that change the world. It can be touching boobs or putting jam on bread, or even just having a friend
But having a reason makes it worth something to put up with life’s bullshit

Having something to live for has been a massive part of chainsaw man since part 1
Denji was able to get through a life where everyday was hell because of pochita, then without his friend he stumbled into a new family. Asa found a reason too.

It’s more than likely a part of being in Aging’s world where devil powers don’t work that she’s able to take control from Yoru, but again the only way she knows how is to hurt herself.
And she’s a kid, she’s doing her best to help, she doesn’t know how to fix trauma

It’s horrid that Denji had to be kicked down to this level to tell an abuser to stop
Even though he’s angry, he still can’t point his anger at Yoru, he only knows how to point it at himself and his life
Denji’s brain going to sex is something he hates about himself, and a huge part of csm part 2

Leaks make absolutely no sense to me
It’s just being impatient, it’s just being unable to handle suspense
