It is not time to think about a better representative government. Only after we remove this current regime from power can we move forward. There should be a Consitutional Convention. Your ideas are worthy and we need to authoritarian proof our democracy.

Don't be too critical of Newsom. Let it play out. It's going to be a long 3+ years. A Long and Winding Road that will test anyone. Hopefully, the best will rise to the top. At least Newsom is starting - don't know if he will finish. Finding the sweet spot is going to be a democratic challenge.
