Fighting fascism and defending democracy is harm reduction, but actually adding things that working class voters WANT, yeah I don’t think it detracts. I think it’s the key.

And honestly at this point, it speaks more to Jefferies not meeting the moment because Mamdani might not even need his endorsement. Truth is, we are a big tent party as they claim yet they actively sideline leftists running for positions every time.

Absolutely. It applies to all politicians. The fact is Jefferies feels Mamdani hasn’t earned his endorsement, tis true. But the good thing is that Mamdani won the Democratic primary, meaning that he has a good chance of pushing an actual progressive left policy agenda.

I’m not fond about the cynicism in this statement, but when good things happen we should lean into them and embrace them, not treat it with disdain. Also, Kamala was not ENTITLED to an endorsement, she needed to earn it from DSA.

Dems--take f*cking notes. It's not social media, its not the culture war topics. It's being unabashedly stalwart in GOOD, working class policies that are...wait for it...POPULAR.

Less donation texts and more action. Oh and a concrete plan, more communication, town halls (I’m in a red state), more progressive policy plans and actually acting like the obstruction party (which it can’t thanks to Schumer). I could go on but let’s start with that.
