Nahh, it's not my angle at all, I was just trying to put myself from the perspective of majority of consumers and creators, considering those whom I know personally.

Twitter algorithm is pretty keen at social engineering.
Stuff that appears on here is usually Something That Has Your Interest + a bit of Related Drama, resulting in feed viewing becoming a "guilty pleasure" even if one decides to boycott.
As for artists it's obvious -- no alternative is that big.
