Another one

The depictions of different races and cultures in these books is very interesting and complicated overall, but I really liked this moment here that shows how the series often subverts expectations and stereotypes from the adventure genre in general.

I forgot to share I am currently reading the first Corto Maltese. I accidentally read the second book first. That one was printed in the original black and white but the first book was colored later by someone else and I'm not sure I really like the new coloring. Especially the dull skin tones

I am going to try reading the whole Tintin series this year but this very first one really didn't give me much. I feel like I didn't really learn much about comics nor was it enjoyable to read. It's mostly only interesting to see how the character started off
