When I get rich, I'll open a gym called Sisyphus'.

No-one will join a gym that sounds like "sissy", but I am rich and I think this need to exist.

A point is that regulators are swayed by public opinion, and this clip - imo - is furthering the misguided belief that "Teslas can drive themselves while the driver is sleeping", perhaps adding that the "driver is superfluous and only there because stupid libtard gubmit requires it".

We agree that the FSD prototype should not be allowed on the road, and that anyone using it should be treated as if they were DUI or similar circumstances.

We do not allow people to let a chimpanzee drive, even if we are willing and able to intervene if the ape makes a mistake.

There's an endless supply of fools, and in recent years the cash available per fool has gone up dramatically. As as the fool and his money are parted, the money has to flow somewhere, and crypto/AI is the biggest attractor today.

Eventually they'll find another way to lose their money.

Sure, I detect the sarcasm.

Here's what I see in meatspace: many, many, many people think that Elon is a "misunderstood genius" (pointing to his fortune as proof), and they keep buying his cars in spite (or because) of his sociopathic behavior.

They will see this as proof the FSD "works".

Post a video of a man crashing a Tesla while sleeping instead of posting one where the car is magically/perfectly driving itself while the man behind the wheel is sound asleep and no-one was hurt.

This is an ad, and it's being amplified by the people who are anti-Elon.

It's mainstream now.. it's taking money from endowments, pensioners, naive fools who think they will 100x on worthless dog shit...

Everyone involved should be treated as aiding and abetting CSAM peddlers - because they are.

Tragically we will have to sacrifice a number of people before the low IQ people understand the risk involved.

Some will be Tesla owners/fans and others will be unwilling participants in Elon and his backers experiment.

You and I know that 99.9% of the population will not be able to remain vigilant if the car drives "fine" every day for 6 months. So when it makes a mistake it will most likely be worse than w/o FSD.

Google tested this and people can't stay focused if the car drives "fine" for a month.

It doesn't look good - to you!

And you and I are a minority.

The majority of people who see this are going to conclude that robotaxi is so good that the driver can take a nap.

Two years ago, such a statement would be inundated with replies about how lighting network solves this (it doesn't) and a few people shilling nano.

You really shouldn't be using crypto for anything. There is zero need for it outside criminality (of the worst kind).

That said - tech absolutely can, and do, help human drivers. Might be superhuman in the future, but Elon has consistently lied about his ability to create a system that is superhuman in the last 10 years. That lie - amplified by dumb reporters/influencers/bankers - has made him extremely powerful.
November 18, 2025 at 7:45 AM
Humans drive under conditions where FSD would disengage, so stats are even worse.

+ In a city like Copenhagen where bicyclists are everywhere and generally can't be expected to follow the rules of the road, it would probably create a lot of gridlock too.

(I am an anarchist bicyclist myself)

This is Tesla marketing. No need to amplify.

This is an ad.

Any apology triggered exposure is worthless.

He feels bad because he was found out. Not because of his deeds.

He should be shunned.
