They’re akin to cults. The leader is never wrong. If he is wrong, there’s a reason. If the reason is BS it’s because he’s being persecuted, etc.
And rule number one is you never, other than to recruit, talk about it to the outsiders.

Quaint, isn’t it? From 147 congressmen in 2021 to an unknown number of military, enlisted and commissioned, to the president himself, that oath is just a bothersome detail that needs to be addressed before the work begins. It means nothing.
