My newest project in my workshop - silver clay! I can easily lose 3-4 hours working and it keeps me away from the horrific news. This is a coffeeberry leaf imprint from my garden.

VERY cold and have not been in the water for two months. Finally, small enough for me to go out for just a few waves. This last wave was a fun one!

Dramatic serpentine in sterling. Love working with this stuff because it takes about 50% less time than hard stones to shape and polish the cabochon.

The minus tides have been great for viewing tidepools. This is a sunburst anemone.

Last if my monarchs for the season. This was a VERY late bloomer. She stopped eating early so she is a very tiny female. Here she gets some nectar from lantana flowers with a little sugar water to give her a head start as I release her today.

We are 3 hours north of the closest fires but our sky at sunset is a lot more orange. The destruction in LA is immeasurable at the moment. My heart breaks for all those affected and for the wildlife displaced as well. One if my very favorite places is now gone, Eaton Canyon. Pray for California.
