Peer review is a fundamental pillar of science, but scientists are short on time. Thus, where you choose to devote your peer-review service matters. Entomologist @morrisonlabusda.bsky.social urges you to prioritize reviewing for journals at @entsocamerica.bsky.social and other scientific societies.

A very unhappy International Women's Day in Science in the US with a collapsing funding system and thought crimes instituted with so-called banned words. But, I am extremely proud of all the amazing women scientists I have supported over the years and the fact that my lab remains majority female. 🧪🧑🏻‍🔬

I was invited for a seminar to #UFL at the Ft Pierce Indian Research and Education Center by Dr. Nicole Quinn and it was a sublime visit. Filled with subtropical flora and fauna, beaches, USDA scientists, and parasitoids, gee gads!
