Digging through #gargoyles "Demona" 4 this weekend, and somehow it's finally hitting me what the core of Demona's character is. It's not exactly a world-shattering revelation, but I think I get it now.

I’m fully expecting to be arrested for treason in the coming weeks. I was a judge of election in 2020, so clearly I betrayed the President by not helping give him the victory he deserved despite the votes.

Gargoyles: Demona no. 1, which had been tangled up in Diamond's collapse, finally made it to my comic shop today...and, wouldn't you know it, but part of the power grid caught on fire, and I had to go deal with that, and nearly missed picking it up.

Maybe I should have gone in to look at the Spider-Man exhibit at the MSI today. I don't know. I think I saw it already at the Franklin Institute, and with all the people in Spider-Man shirts and such it's doing all right here without me. And I'm cheap.
