Meet the aptly named red-tailed boa. This beauty was spotted by our director during a recent visit to the Peruvian Amazon. (Fun fact: this is THE Boa Constrictor. Its official scientific name is Boa c. constrictor and it’s found throughout South America - preferring forest and river edges)
