I think "help" is the operative word here. Human intelligence needs to be the overriding decision-maker, but what happens when a company elects to make decisions based on data when the data may be flawed? Sometimes there's no help for human "intelligence." But yay for being data-driven! 🙄

The owner of a baby and children's clothing boutique agreed to take me on for a couple months for cash as I was 14 or 15. I was terrible at retail work, and I discovered that infants would scream in dismay at the mere sight of me. ☠️ So not my calling. I went on to work for cash at a dog kennel.

Oh dear, now I have something else to be anxious about! 😅 I love/hate those recorded video interviews like Hirevue. I get paranoid that they keep every version I'm "recording over," but I know that is silly. I'm far less nervous in a live interview, somehow. Probably better for others.
