Where to begin...
Look back at what Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower (both Republicans) did during their terms in regards to monopolies and taxation and do that. It's not rocket science.

Imagine how much money Kelly can take in and run for POTUS in '28 by capitalizing on all of this.

I just relish these comments 😉

The guy who bankrupted casinos? Understands policy? His dumpling ass can't spell policy!

No, we don't! We should, at a minimum, have the same healthcare access our elected officials have. After all, we're funding it, either directly or indirectly.

The old guard has a sense of entitlement and feel the seat of whatever state or district they represent belongs to them and them alone. I agree with you, but ultimately, it's up to the people to vote them out.

Great, Pharma and insurance companies can buy politicians and reward their CEOs, and we're still stuck with co-pays and deductibles. We got the best government money can buy.
November 25, 2025 at 2:16 AM
Since we, as tax payers, primarily fund their health insurance, why can't we get the same?
November 25, 2025 at 12:27 AM
I concur but will admit people's attention span and memory regarding political matters is nil, hence the reason obscene amounts of money is spent campaigning. They have pretty good perks that the rest of us can't get, such as insider trading.
November 24, 2025 at 5:57 PM
All the more reason for term limits. No one should be in office long enough to retire. Also, their healthcare is funded, full or in part, by taxpayers. Since we're paying for it, shouldn't we be able to access it?
November 24, 2025 at 4:04 PM
They're not responsible but are reactive and, unfortunately, good communicators. History shows this: Republicans spend too much, Democrats fix by using tax money,Republicans spin lowering taxes and get re-elected. Wash, rinse, and repeat.

Maybe it's time for an overhaul of our political system. Just a thought.
November 24, 2025 at 12:49 PM
Truth! And will continue to do so.
November 24, 2025 at 1:17 AM
You're right. We do deserve better. We should be able to keep our healthcare, just like you in Congress, after only working five years. Or, aren't we good enough?
November 23, 2025 at 3:46 PM
You nailed it. Enjoy your weekend.
November 23, 2025 at 1:34 AM
Exactly. Which begs the question - Why do we allow it? We need to overhaul what our elected officials can and can't do.
November 23, 2025 at 1:33 AM
Why can't elected officials be like everyone else? I leave my job, for whatever reason, I get nada. They have way too many perks that we pay for yet don't get ourselves. Supposedly, they work for us.

If he's smart, he does. But this is Rubio...

Treat them exactly as you would anyone who can't afford a high price attorney. It's not rocket science. You did the crime, do the time. And sentence them, when convicted, to general population in the prison. Let the chips fall where they may.
November 22, 2025 at 11:43 PM
Of course. We stopped being a government of, by, and for the people a long time ago.
November 22, 2025 at 1:01 PM
Truth be told, are any of them? Or are we just the votes to get them into office to do their donors bidding? I think I'm more cynical.

Either going to run for governor of GA or realizes she's going to lose in the midterm elections. Maybe both.
