covid day 5, i started feeling better yesterday. this morning i woke up at 7am feeling pretty bad but i brushed my teeth, washed my face, took my meds and some dayquil then went back to bed. just got up again feeling much better. dayquil is amazing. now i need some food so im gonna work on that.

I got covid. My fault really. I went to a concert and I was masking at first but a few drinks in I stopped thinking about it. To be honest I don't remember seeing a single other person masking, not that it matters. I can't be so careless.

I imagine this is how adults of Sierra Leone felt watching Siaka Stevens prime Sierra Leone for war— the gutting of any and every Public Health Service, the filling presidential cabinet with cronies. We always think war means guns, which means we catch on way too late; war always starts with policy.
