Image Description: "The last few weeks felt impossible. I keep coming back to these words; they’re all that make sense.

After violence/injustice, many feel on edge. Thoughts loop; you search for certainty. This is not a failing. It’s your nervous system responding to threat, trying to protect you.

Weapons for survival:

• Rest is resistance.

• Small acts are victories.

• You do not have to be "productive" to be valuable.

• Reach out. Check in on one person. If you are in crisis, say so. Let people help. They deserve to take that role in your life.

History teaches this clearly: fascism starves on solidarity. It was not by individual heroics but by networks of care. No act of resistance is too small. Every little thing you manage is powerful. Together our small acts become a shield. Stay with us. Stay alive. Stay connected.

Pause when you can. Drink water. Look for something solid. Reach for someone safe. You do not have to carry this alone. If you are exhausted, lean on your people. If you are steady, offer your strength. Sharing the weight and carrying each other is what keeps us alive.

Your body may stay alert. Your thoughts may loop. You might keep refreshing your feeds, searching for certainty that never comes. This is not a personal failing. This is your nervous system responding to threat, trying to protect you. Hypervigilance after harm is normal.
