This is an absurd list idea and I love it

I am, in general, a big fan of the DQ series but Dragon Quest 5 is especially good. Perfectly balanced difficulty level, power spikes never felt like a major issue, interesting battle mechanics with being able to party up with random monsters, and a fun, novel story spanning a 30 year period -great!

I hotly recommend charity shop bric-a-brac sections for funky glasses! I threw a party years ago now where I sourced a dozen weird wine glasses from various charity shops and it added a real sense of cool-ness to the evening

On the brightside, at least you now have an excuse to go out and buy a new, snazzier wine glass! 😁

Phenomenal job! Very well done

I am a HUGE fan of the entire Professor Layton series - there is something truly wonderful about logic puzzles intertwined with truly nonsense scenarios. I enjoyed the animated cutscenes so much as a kid that I was ecstatic when a whole movie came out! Tying into an earlier entry, AAvPL is fantastic

Soul Eater is an excellent pick after FMA!

I wish I could help but sadly I don't make the rules, all such decisions are made by a bunch of weirdos who are overly pressed about what people do in the comfort of their own home 😕 best of luck I guess 😕

I'm afraid sorry just isn't enough 😕 this is it for your gaming career 😕 😕😕

Ahahaha absolutely scandalous! How could you!

More upset about the Satorl Marsh erasure than any set up element 😤😤😤

(For clarity I'm not seeing any issues with this set up at all?? You just look ultra cosy???)

There is something endlessly repayable about Mount and Blade. It's janky and difficult and your entire progress can be wiped by a fee unlucky moments- you're always on the precipice of failure but you learn and prepare and ALWAYS invest in wineries for oodles of passive income. Great game

Chrono Trigger, my first *proper* JRPG (Sorry Pokemon Emerald). Went into it thinking there were Fire Emblem esque permadeath mechanics due to hearing about what happens to Chrono in the story. Fun surprise there! Terribly cool battle system, with a super interesting branching story- Excellent stuff

Pokemon Emerald - it's Christmas 2006, my younger brother has received an absolutely huge present whilst I get gifted a small square box. I'm in bits - why has Santa forsaken me!? Little do I know, I have in my hands a copy of Emerald and my brother has a set of 250 rubbish plastic soldiers - my win

Let me get one thing straight - Death Stranding IS a walking simulator, but it's a damn good walking simulator. Its, admittedly, bizarre mechanics have been incredibly well thought out and mo-cap Norman Reedus does a phenomenal job. Excellent soundtrack, great movement, classic Kojima storytelling
