I am so so close to finishing my yellow single volume Inuyasha collection!

I search anywhere I see manga for them and hardly find new ones anymore (3 this week at the same store though 🥳) but it’s become a fun game I’ve been at for over 10 years lol.
My manga shelves, focused in on the middle shelf pictured which shows my entire Inuyasha manga collection. Out of 56 volumes, only 7 are not pictured. You can also picture volume 1-3 of Yashahime along with a Shippo and Inuyasha pop, and QPosket Towa.

Current read! I’m (trying) to re-read all the Royal Diaries books in order from the earliest date to the most modern.

I’m very curious why this volume is considered a special edition! Is it because it’s a bit bigger than the rest?

Just starting Horrid by Katrina Leno. Got this copy at my favorite used bookstore recently and it turned out to be a signed copy from OwlCrate 🖊️ 🌹
The hook Horrid which shows a blonde girl with a pale completion, whose eyes are covered by red flowers that are laid around her as well. Apparently this edition changes the flowers to read, but the original they’re black! My bookmark that says this is the bookmark of a killer, Bella. The signature!

Stocked up the Little Library today. Everything from City of Bones to A Breath of Snow and Ashes I donated!

(Yes I did forget My Sweet Audrina in that line up photo lol).

I had to repair that edition of The Magician’s Nephew but it was too cool to leave at the used book store.

Evernight by Claudia Gray, the now very respected Star Wars writer. I discovered her due to this vampire book. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery And The Magician’s Nephew by CS Lewis. The same books and more in a Little Library.

Little repairs to a very loved ex library book.

Pictured is Backstage Prince by Kanoko Sakurakoji. Had no idea another manga by this artist was released in the US until this week but had to get a copy.
Backstage Prince when I first received it, it has some attempts to keep it together, but those were coming up and needed removing as well. Tape removed, cleaned with goo gone, and taped back up to be loved another day. The back was very dirty too 🥲, which is honestly why I’m even bothering showing. This book was in desperate need of soft love. All better :)

A bunch of mostly cryptid themed plushies from a local Dark Market. A bat, a griffin, an angry bee, 2 mothmans (I later learned there were originally 3, but my mom claimed one lol), a Tennesseean Wild Man? (A type of Big Foot apparently), a frog, the Flatwoods Monster, and an alien guy in a ship.

There was the slightest chill in the air this week, so I made broccoli cheddar soup and bread for dinner one night, and then cookies (with bats!) for dessert 🦇

My bright yellow Buffy “Kiss the Librarian” mug sits behind, full of milk 🥛

The one on the left is my childhood copy of Anne of Green Gables. The one on the right is a new copy of the same book.

I didn’t realize mine had such faded coloring! I had to grab the replacement, not to get rid of mine as I could never, but for either a friend or the local little library 💙📚
2 copies of the same Anne of Green Gables book. One is faded and a little beat up; the other is brand new. The book has a yellow border and she’s a scene of Anne walking on the roof as a bunch of other girls watch.

Spent the night starting a much needed task of sorting and cataloging our comics collection.

A lot were inherited from my dad so I had to look into them first to better organize them. I’ve learned so much.

I do so adore the tv cast and picture the characters exactly like them, but I love the art of these. Especially Benedict and Sophie.

I had only previously collected two Bridgerton books. (and Queen Charlotte) because I was wanting these particular collectors editions, but they seemingly discontinued the line??

Anyway, my dream editions are original stepback editions which I found last week! 🩵
