A3 My turn for a redo after reading your responses. I wish people outside of education would listen to the whole story. Ask any teacher and they can paint a full picture of learning and growth for every child in their care. A story that goes way beyond the numbers! Want to know? Just ask. #tlap

A4 - Besides the next round of testing? Once state testing is over, district EOY benchmark windows open. Once it's all over, we find the celebrations and carry them through to the end of the year! #tlap #6moreMondays

A3 - Not sure why, but it is exhausting! Whether teachers are doing laps while proctoring, sitting for a 1-on-1 administration, or somewhere in between, there is a mind-numbing-ness that none of us signed up for. #tlap

A2 - Grace! When a teacher shows up in my office, unsure of where to send her kids for their accommodations, I join her in class to call out room assignments; we tackle it together! #tlap

A1: Today was the first day, so you could feel the nervous energy in the building. Me? I'm confident teachers and students will do what they can to make the best of it! #tlap

A4 Do the work on school time whenever possible. My principal is great about releasing teachers for half and full days to plan as teams or individually. She'd rather your worked on her time than become burnt out or resentful for working for free. Of course, it means subs and sub plans...so... #tlap

A3 I take my own advice. I tell teachers all the time that I'd rather be at home disappointing people at school (who are likely not actually thinking about me all that much) then at school disappointing people at home (including myself). They need to hear it. So do I. #tlap

A2 to regain balance tonight, I worked out (with my last ounce of strength), played ball with the dog, and left my work bag in the car knowing that I scheduled time to complete tomorrow's tasks... tomorrow! #tlap

A1: In PLCs, we use ChatGPT when we get stuck, e.g.: What are real-world reasons you would divide fractions by whole numbers and vice versa. It helped Ts who were hesitant to get to know the tool and it gave us something we could take back into classrooms right away! #eduskychat

A2: I'd like to get smarter about helping teams to access coaching tools, without that being dependent on my role as their coach. One thing I'm playing with is team Coach Notes that serve as a common starting point from which Ts can reflect, celebrate and push each other. #tlap

A1 - As an instructional coach, my biggest success is spending more time IN classrooms this year! I've more than doubled my visits so far (with eight just today!), which means I know teachers, students, and our resource better and can work from a place of knowing what is already working. #tlap

A2 I work with several Ts from K to 5th grade who teach kids hand signals for agree, disagree, connect, etc. After Ss share, they call on someone based on the signal, eg. "So-and-so, it looks like you have a different perspective..." #eduskychat
