I find the best way is to start working on it, realizing how much more work it would actually take than I thought it would, realizing it will require a bunch of not fun research and legwork I really don't want to do, and then letting it naturally fade away

יש קטע בראינוע של פראצ'ט שבו אחת הדמויות מסבירה שהתפאורה של אנק-מורפורק היא יותר אנק-מורפורק מהעיר עצמה, כי היא מעבירה לצופים את התחושה של העיר. אני חושב שזה נכון גם לתרגום בין מדיומים - אפשר לכתוב בצורה סינמטית, אבל צריך להעביר את התחושה של צפיה בסרט, לא תיאור מהלך האירועים באותה צורה

יש קטע בראינוע של פראצ'ט שבו אחת הדמויות מסבירה שהתפאורה של אנק-מורפורק היא יותר אנק-מורפורק מהעיר עצמה, כי היא מעבירה לצופים את התחושה של העיר. אני חושב שזה נכון גם לתרגום בין מדיומים - אפשר לכתוב בצורה סינמטית, אבל צריך להעביר את התחושה של צפיה בסרט, לא תיאור מהלך האירועים באותה צורה

I didn't mean the AI in this platform, I meant the platform itself, as well as any social media. There is no such thing as an ethical social media platform. You make an active choice to waste energy on a platform designed to make people less productive and more divisive, and encourage plagiarism.

To clarify: put your limit where you feel comfortable putting it. But we are at the point where a Google search creates a gen AI prompt, telling people their bad for using it is a bit disconnected.

The way I use it:
- get stuck and not sure how to proceed with a scene
- ask ChatGPT what he would write
- read the result and be like "wow that's awful, but it does give me an idea how to do this right..."

ההסבר שקיבלתי מצ׳אטגיפיטי היה יחסית מובן להדיוט כמוני, אבל אני לא חושב שאני מסוגל לחזור עליו פה
