I saw a very elegant elderly couple on the subway a little while ago.
The grandmother was neatly dressed, wearing leather gloves down to her fingertips, and the grandfather was carrying a bouquet of flowers for her. As soon as they boarded together, I quickly stood up to offer my seat.

한국에서 영어 의전이라면 보통 글로벌/리젼에서 방문하시는 높은 분들을 잘 응대하는 걸 의미하니 여기서는 hospitality 정도가 상응하는 단어일 것 같아요. 누군가 한국에 방문했을 때 그 며칠간 매 순간마다 '나 진짜 대우받고 있구나' 하는 걸 느끼시게끔 모든 일정을 완벽히 세팅해두는거죠.
