Balatro's design is impeccable, but the gameplay feels so underbaked and RNG-heavy coming from Slay The Spire. After 100 hours and clearing every deck on gold stake, it feels so shallow. The only thing that matters is seeing as many shop slots as you can, the actual poker game doesn't matter.

This indie citybuilder game caught my eye and I haven't been able to put it down. It's perfect. The roguelite aspects solve that "late game gets boring" issue that normal citybuilders/colonysims have, because here you just win the run and move on. #games
