Energy infrastructure has been repeatedly targeted during the war in #Sudan. Our analysis of Saturday's suspected RRF drone strike on the transformer area at the Merowe hydroelectric dam suggests a similar degree of damage to that in January. #KeepEyesOnSudan 1/2

This morning #Khartoum has been covered by an oil fire smoke plume 260km long, a more substantial fire than seen to date and results from the ongoing fighting over the Khartoum Oil Refinery. The refinery, which had been captured by the RSF, has been the focus of fighting for over a week. #Sudan
