Those who got social media at a younger age are more likely to regret not waiting longer. Half of Gen Z Brits wish they’d spent last time on screens during childhood and a third wish they’d spent had waited longer before getting social media.

In fact most Gen Z Britons think that life would be better off for young people under the age of 16 if they didn’t have access to social media and rate it as the top harm to those young people’s mental health.

affects their self esteem, mental health and work/studies even as 2/3s tend to say it improves their relationships with friends.
