I've accumulated a few horse skulls recently and decided that I need to build a Mari Lwyd. In fact I need TWO Maris so I'll be using these skulls to make a traditional Yule theme one and a black 'Border Morris' Mari

I picked up a 1949 copy of Folk Tales of Wales by Eirwen Jones and I think it might be signed by the author! I can't think why anyone would write the name inside and it's totally different handwriting from the books owner. Can anyone confirm?

So this happened last night 😮. All the kids in the car ran off unharmed but more amazingly they missed our car by about 2ft, the wall by inches, and we had no damage whatsoever 😅

Lots of new stuff going out on display in the museum and shop recently, including these amazing prosthetic hands. A cable attached between the hand and the wearers arm would allow the devices to be opened/closed by moving position

Today's Mari Lwyd workshop went really well with some lovely designs and colours being used to decorate a real rabbit skull and each one has its own handler hiding beneath the sheets.
We'll be announcing new dates very soon if you'd like to join us.
