The fact that the pepperonis (?) have a small bite taken out is really disturbing me.

We're getting Giant Bomb's return before GTA VI

man I fucked with James Cameron movies so hard when I was younger and I have not once ever felt like I wanted to watch the Avatar movies. Even when I've listened to people talk about how amazing they thought they were. I'd probably even like them but it really feels like a chore I want to avoid

I find myself sighing when I realize it's a 3 hour episode because it means I ain't doing shit else that night but watching AEW then going to bed. Wish they'd start an hour early when they do 3 hours lol

1000%. He's one of the best in the business. We don't need 100 more MJFs but the one we have is fantastic
December 19, 2025 at 1:21 AM
We agree, MJF is great. I love AEW as a whole too and don't think they have a habit of going too far. It might be too much for certain fans but that's valid if they just watch something else and don't make a big stink about it
December 19, 2025 at 1:20 AM
I personally wasn't offended and it wasn't on MJF anyway but I did cringe when that happened and said to myself "oh no they shouldn't have done that". Sure enough, ppl raised hell and AEW dropped the quarters thing and never mentioned it again.
December 19, 2025 at 1:08 AM
In the case I just mentioned, there was nothing commentary could've said to fix it lmao. Juice was playing off tge promo MJF cut about being bullied in school for being Jewish and how kids threw quarters at him. I think it was also right after Oct. 7th when sensitivity was through the roof

I'm curious if you have an example of that. Like we might have different definitions of edgelord
December 19, 2025 at 1:01 AM
I've never been offended by MJF and also roll my eyes when people whine about him
December 19, 2025 at 1:00 AM
I mostly agree with that. The only time I ever thought they crossed that line was when Juice held up the roll of quarters with MJF's name on it. In context it was a clever story beat but also straight up depicted Juice as antisemitic and not in the way that idiots say Ms Rachel is

I appreciate the discussion. It got me thinking about wrestling stories in a way I don't usually..

I'm still curious what sparked it though. Are people complaining about something from Dynamite or something?
December 19, 2025 at 12:53 AM
I really don't think it's that difficult to understand what I mean. There's a line, that when crossed, would hurt the product more than it would help. Unless you purposely want to cater to edgelords in which case, sure, nothing is off limits
December 19, 2025 at 12:48 AM
I'm not saying you can never do something that might offend or repulse ANYBODY. I mean, there are people that hate wrestling just because of the in ring violence, right?
December 19, 2025 at 12:46 AM
Well, unless you want to watch XPW or some shit lol
December 19, 2025 at 12:38 AM
I'm not saying those were all good angles, some of them really sucked but it wasn't like the Katie Vick thing where Kane was literally accused of raping a dead girl.

Does what I'm saying make sense at all? I'm not a prude by any means but there's a reason you don't see certain things in wrestling

Marc Mero and Sable was an allegory for domestic abuse. A bit on the nose but they never explicity said that he was beating her.

Eddie vs Rey over the custody of Dominik implied child abuse without outright stating it

HHH drugged Stephanie then married her in a drive through chapel while she was unconscious. Again, a rape allegory. And it helps that the big reveal was that Stephanie was in on it the whole time just to hurt her dad
