I wonder if it is just a coincidence that Trump is leaving the G7 before he has to deal with Zelensky's arrival...

So a few American senators came to Canada to try to mend fences and exclaim how much they love Canadians and they want us to be their friend again. Talk is cheap and last time I looked, Donald Trump was still sitting in the Oval Office imposing massive tariffs on us and our allies. Elbows up.

Some U S. legislator is inducing a bill that will allow some Canadians to stay in the US for longer than what is currently allowed, presumably to increase canadian tourist revenue. When Canadians don't want to stay for as much as a weekend, I have to say that this legislator has lost the plot.

I am trying to find a post I read earlier today. Unfortunately I don't remember the author. It contained a link to a lengthy article about Rebel News. Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA.

So is this how it is going to be forever and ever amen? A president is elected from a different party. All senior government officials (supposedly non partisan) get fired. 4 years later government changes. Rinse and repeat. Tell me how that creates a stable civil service.

I thought this was interesting. The majority of Canadians dislike (maybe too soft a word) Trump and anyone who resembles him.

KINSELLA: Trump anchor dragging down Poilievre’s Conservatives fast
If Canadian voters continue to believe that Poilievre is a slightly-altered holographic projection of the president, he’s done like dinner.
