I got this bonus today and those fucks unironically deducted the $250 state wide reimbursement for remote work from it
Got told in my annual review that the annual raises were .2% lower because of weak company wide performance then immediately got told I was getting a larger holiday bonus because of my personal performance and also everyone was getting an additional "company performance" bonus as well

I'm trying to figure out how realistic it would be to buy a productivity laptop for when I travel and just use some remote play software to connect to my desktop at home and stream games. My biggest point of paranoia is that I'll lose connection at some point and get my PC stuck on until I get back

Exceedingly disappointed by the Marathon news recently, still think it looked interesting and still think the extraction shooter genre has a bunch of design space to expand into, but I can acknowledge that it looks like Marathon is circling the drain

I can't stand Marathon discourse because it's almost entirely journalists, completely unfamiliar with the genre, confidently writing about what makes a "good extraction shooter", while their readers, with no experience with the genre, compliment them on their deep knowledge of extraction shooters

I'm going to actually crash out if I see another person claim the extraction shooter genre is over saturated when there are literally 2 games that have actually seen any sucess and like maybe 10 that were DOA 4 years ago when EFT got some media attention

My opinion of anything has ever done as hard of a 180 as I just did learning the Switch 2's games will be $90 to play games at lower resolutions and at worse frame rates

Somewhat worried I'm not going to fw FF7 Rebirth, I enjoyed Remake but really did not like the final couple of boss fights in both the base game and the DLC and I'm worried they're going to lean more into the parts I disliked in Rebirth

I can not stress how much you should not take any PC building advice from those PC build tiktoks/shorts, every single one I've seen, without fail, has either actively lied to the audience or has presented catestrophically bad advice as though it was common knowledge.
