I bought your book a year ago but couldn't face reading it then because it all felt too horrible. I finally found brain space for it and finished it last night. This girl was terrified of us when we got her. So terrified she bit me (and it got infected and I needed a course of antibiotics). Now she’s the cuddliest wee sweetie.

Time and patience. It can be really stressful for all involved.
When we introduce a new cat we put them in a crate in our lounge. We go about life with them there to desensitize them to us (and the other cats).
Food is a powerful motivator so lots of treats.
