i mean i guess, but i also just implied that i thought the kinpri game writing was fine for the most part, so there's a reason i was imagining that it could've gone well, but we're clearly talking past each other. enjoy aipri.

im describing an imaginary scenario because we were talking about one? "if they had 52 episodes dot dot dot." i said it might have turned out better, you disagreed. i only mentioned the game because it had a means to flesh out characters (by pretty series standards), idol land did not.

i disagree, kinpri (mainly the game) succeeded in fleshing out their characters just fine, i wont assume it wouldve been terrible based off of a short series and a few cameos from their debut series. amazing? definitely not, but who knows, it might not have been garbage. agree to disagree though 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾

i actually did like mario though! i honestly feel like the main failure of idol land is they wrote it as though they were going to have a full 52 episodes when they knew they werent. you can do a lot with 12 episodes, they just didn't cause that's not what they usually do.

honestly the screen time thing is probably cause idol land (which isnt really worth mentioning, it was so bad) wanted to cram every past character in and still have relevant plot. which was an especially interesting choice knowing they only had 12 episodes to do something.

you could do that with dressing pafe too though, and they've been around the longest. tomboy rival, little shit, and soft spoken twin (with a couple gender affirming moments).
even hibiki is your average "im mean bc my parents are dead and my friends were fake. genius over hardwork."

oh i feel like i saw character sheets for that on reddit, its a girl who doesnt wanna be a magical girl but is, right? pretty much all the comments were positive and had nothing to do with her being black so i thought it was well recieved lol
