ARM has great performance for less power, usually. Could enable the device to be smaller, lighter, and generate less heat.

There was a Valve dev that basically hinted at that. Said there wouldn't be a steam deck 2 until a certain development was made. It's is almost 100% an ARM based machine they're waiting on.

Because at the kernel level it can detect way more of those brute force methods. These modern cheats literally start before and bypass the OS.

Because video game cheats are way more sophisticated than that. The reason kernel level is used is because the common way to cheat is to literally have a second computer intercept the data at a compute level and then be able to inject into that. Cheating is wild in 2025.

Sadly, even though supported, this failed to install for me. Some weird libgphoto2 dependencies, I don't know why.

Oh yeah, I totally get needing it for that stuff. I miss some stuff. But overall don't miss all the chaos of social media.
