Update on the bigger piece: Went from 10.75 to roughly 10.25in after bisque firing. Someone moved my greenware from the bat it was on and chipped it. I fired anyway and glazed over it. Depending on kiln loading, final piece in a few days.

I have no idea how these will turn out but the clay is light gray (bmix with sand), I have eggshell white and another gray glaze.
I normally enjoy darker clays more, but this was on sale, and I take the opportunity to use the light colored glazes when I get it…

During stream we talked about how you can’t screenshot Silksong and make it into a high-res wallpaper. I had an idea to stitch together some screenshots, so we took some on stream.
Did some stitching, isolated a few hornets to place, and generated a neutral background for what I didn’t screenshot.

My salad blate is still quite wet because it’s so large. There is 12% shrinkage for this clay, so that’s 9.25 inches finished.

I put them beside BD. I’m BD’s pottery secret admirer. They have the most beautiful and clean shapes. I can pick their work out 100% of the time if it’s on a shelf with 50 other pieces…

Since the last shed, it has become clear that Moss is female. The females are always larger and hungrier. Recently, Moss grew exponentially and just waits at the food bowl… well, also has no balls…

I also threw a big bowl/plate—5lbs, 11 inches wide atm. I haven’t had good luck with drying large pieces without cracking, so I’m waiting until after bisque to post about it. #pottery #ceramics
