It's also wild that folks just bail on work sometimes, but it happens often enough that I can just show up and say "hey I'm here" and if there's work I can have it??? Very chill. Worth it when it works out.

This is the big issue. It's not that libraries aren't wanting to get the books to you digitally - publishers make it impossible for really no reason outside of greed. Thanks for saying this so well.

I like busy, it's basically a timer but it blocks apps while running

Ah, I see, I do love that bike way.

It also stops right at Denny dumping folks straight onto Broadway, it doesn't help anyone go further north. Seattle really could have used it's docked bike system vs the dockless systems we have, but that doesn't solve the missing connections across the city.

I bike in Seattle, honestly think it's often unsafe to ride in the road vs the sidewalks with how drivers are basically not paying attention. Our infrastructure while "good" isn't great , focus on the real problem - what cars are doing. The bigger issue of what's hurting kids is clearly not bikes.

Didn't tell us what they did and did a bunch of things incorrectly. State took 15 months to tell us (when I was filing for unemployment) that even though the store paid in, I couldn't have it. I tried so hard to fix that store. I honestly think i was fighting a losing battle from day 1.

Helped run a small comic shop, it didn't go well. Came in to an existing store that had used up a lot of the goodwill of subscribers + struggled to find new folks. Foot traffic didn't return after covid. Had a colleague who basically bail without telling us+ messed up a before then...
