Silently, it seems that Samus is looking at a hologram of..a baby metroid. She accepted it's sacrifice a long time ago and in a way, it's DNA is the only reason she's still alive today..it's part of her in a sense yet there's a small part of her that wishes she could have done more

11. She's done plenty of noble things in her line of work but this is one. A baby just brought into the world, at the time the last of it's kind..alone and confused, she couldn't bring herself to hurt it.
