I actually think 40 books is pretty realistic for me considering how much I am NOT in my house so I would like to repeat that goal for 2026. I would also like to read all 6 Jane Austen novels. I really would like to read every day of 2026 but let’s start with just January & see

I don’t really buy books very often so I used CAWPILE to keep track of the retail cost of all the things I checked out, including DNF books. I saved $510.68 by using the library 🤯 I’m trying to figure out what I should treat myself with lol

I’m actually ashamed that I only DNF 3 books all year because when I looked back at the titles there were at least 3 I thought sucked so bad and finished anyway. And they were all for book clubs UGH

I am always proud that I read from so many women authors. I did use CAWPILE this year, which I like to look at but isn’t very good for screenshots. Only 2 of my reads were audiobooks and only 1 was a reread

ok I did stay up to finish this and it was sick I liked it soooo much. and then I went on g**dreads and people were saying it was her worst book???? Lmao in that case can’t wait to read the rest

It’s about a young vampire who wakes up with amnesia, not remembering how she got her injuries or even her own name. And she has to rediscover who and what she is. It’s so fucking gooooood

finally finished this. I don’t love to shit talk books but the worst crime a book can commit to me is to be boring & unfortunately this book is guilty. It had all the ingredients to be a fun read but it was way less than the sum of its parts & now I’m annoyed I didn’t dump it
