Productive or counterproductive to the expansion (or not) of any particular set of organizations just isn't the concern to me.

And any effective organizing tradition, such as it is, will have to stress test itself against people who don't share their expected norms or goals (insofar as these can be disentangled)

Unless of course by tradition you mean a few scattered orgs with disparate and conflicting goals that show up when unaffiliated randos start congregating.

Seems like if the traditions are robust and effective enough then one random poster should hardly be an issue and should merit no attention.

The internet is not so different from other forms of mass media, perhaps simply more concentrated in its effects. Can't be blamed for a global fascist threat when we did that already a century ago.
