They also couldn't figure out stuff like the capital gains thing, even after explainers, because the explainers came post-propaganda. Explain first, get ahead of your own message, or let bad actors do it first.

It's a service, and the federal government should treat it as one. But not like how the provinces treat some of their services (looks at healthcare, education, transportation...)

Petroleum based dyes? Please say these aren't in the Canadian version. Not that I'm buying them these days, but I've eaten my share over the years.

Disappointing since I know parents who added this stuff to teething toddlers' smoothies hoping to round out the nutrition these cantankerous littles are getting. Bet they didn't know lead was on the menu!

This Canadian believes boycotting U.S.-made goods and avoiding travel to the U.S. could help strengthen Canada's trade relations with the rest of the world.
Also, if someone acts like an enemy, you don't keep fueling the beast and you certainly don't go to where you could be treated like an animal.

Please please please do this. There was a pilot for this my kid got into and it has been a major godsend.

when I graduated, we had fundraised and paid a ticket fee to shore up the difference. we had student and parent committees to plan, price out, fundraise, etc. could they not just do that?

I stopped posting there when a certain someone made what the media benignly calls 'arm gestures'.
Participating there generates revenue for him. Whatever people are getting from monetizing there is pennies compared to what he's getting. So I took my ball and went home. He does not get my support.

They feel so manly when they do this stuff, but it can be thrown back in their faces that they only feel like big tough guys against unarmed civilians who aren't expecting it.
