i also like to occasionally deliver factoids relevant to situations that may come up that everyone around me knows. its a super great and intentional character trait.

(So much of what is currently inspiring me to write horror about grad school is that - the conversations I’m having with my friends, the inescapable pressure that is f1 visa life rn, trying to put the constant anxiety onto the page somehow.)

Esp bc I am currently an international student in the us who wants to maybe try to have a career outside of academia via writing but is currently terrified of even glancing at my visa the wrong way - I thus can’t monetize my work at all but it would be cool if ppl checked it out

And also for anyone else who wants to engage shockingly enough I enjoy it when ppl engage w my work lollllll

I think this season has had its moments, but broadly agree. It spends 99% of the time scared to take itself seriously (part of the appeal was the very earnest silliness!) and then randomly tacks into unearned sentimentality.

It’s a shame - I’ve watched every episode live since I was ten!
