Trying to think of a way to say this without it sounding cheesy but one thing about Tolkien that means a lot to me is that the darkness of the night only makes the Light of the Stars shine more brightly.

On ESPN Stan Verrett said about a PGA tournament “there was a bug in the locker room, some players have withdrawn” and I thought he meant a literal insect and that either it was some ancient monstrosity or golfers just hate bugs but then I realized it was a sickness. It’s fun to imagine the first.
