The magnetron stores so much electrical charge, even unplugged, that it can and will kill you violently if you touch it wrong. If your microwave fails you get a new one. No exceptions

It's really telling that recent tabloid crazes against testosterone treatments refer to "increased clotting risks" as if it is a peculiarity of the treatment, and not a matter of *the baseline level risk cis men experience*.
