I went in without any expectations (a friend of mine read it so I thought why not) and I was still disappointed. I only finished it because I enjoyed raging about it to my friend 🤣

I also feel like being someone who reads or read fanfiction before the big boom of that genre (and genres like dark romance) are picky too. I'm not straight either but I noticed how despite loving the concept of Romantasy I can't read most of the books everyone seems to love in that genre if any
