A screenshot of comments made by Copilot AI on a github pull request which translates Roman numeral ordinals into French. It includes the phrases "'xviie' represents the 16th ordinal (XVI + superscript e) not the 17th" and "the French translation for XIX (19) is correct but this appears to be the 19th or final which should use 'xixe' notation not 'xviiie'". The e characters are all superscript because that's how French denotes ordinals, but who has time to type that out on a phone keyboard.

Been trying to explain the same to my kittens for years now and it does not appear to have sunk in.

So our app has a "free chat" tab where you practice having conversations with an AI in various settings. I booted it up today to test a thing, and it transcribed my name as "Z" and then the audio proceeded to refer to me as "Zed" throughout.

Which, 10/10 perfect French roleplay, no notes.
