something i remember from that original thread of horror stories from her show is that while there were a lot of individual unrepeated stories about her, something that came up over and over again was that eye contact with her was explicitly forbidden & you'd get shouted at by her for breaking it

i was going to ask if there was a bucket hat connotation to oasis in the UK, but that doesnt matter now---i *have* to share this absurdly long list of kooky regional names for bucket hats i found when i went to wikipedia just now. this is so all over the place

he's the manga guy who gets a lot of indie graphic novel cred. his style is a trip and a half, and was an acquired taste for me, but now i adore him. like these are all from the same comic, which is his baby.
