I'm a hobbyist game developer that works on web based games using Excalibur.JS!

But I married a 5-start home chef, so ... foodie!

Working on some isometric procedural generation.

This is a large map (100x100) with 64px x 48px tiles.

I start with Perlin Noise based placement.
Then I highlight separate regions.
Then a couple Cellular Automata passes.
Then culling small regions.
Then connecting final regions

It's been a hot minute since I've posted.

I've developed a card library for ExcaliburJS.
And I'm now using it to make a bare bones draw poker demo.

Thanks to @kenney.nl for the card assets for prototyping my library!

Fooled around and made a ExcaliburJS level design tool that uses Excel or Google Sheets to design the level, parses it, and automagically creates your tilemap and entities for you in Excalibur!!!!

Just actually completed my first pixel art commission! Super stoked. I never actually imagine that I'd be able to help anyone out like this before!

These abstract concept themes that aren't tangible are a little tougher...

I went with a court jester in the Pizza Legends character style

Spent some time today on a Cutscene system

I created a cutscene action for navigating a nav mesh that I laid on this map

In this example, i asked the Map's nav mesh for a path between tile 88 and 123, then passed the path to the cutscene action

Then did a pirouette at the end
