thinking about it, it's probably because having a screen that can sit this close to me compared to a regular monitor makes mouse drawing way more comfortable. Also sometimes I just want to be able to draw lines without having to stretch my arm out + have my hand get in the way, as silly as that is.

My personal preferred drawing device arc so far:
2000s me: Mouse drawer 100%, stubbornly so.
2010s me: Finally got tablet, promptly lost all ability to draw with a mouse.
2020s me: Acquired screen tablet, suddenly gained mouse drawing skills back. Now I use both interchangeably.

I suppose on a lighter note, I'm drawing more than I ever have in the past 5 years alone. The catch is all of it's stuff I can't share yet... but maybe someday I'll be able to. It's the primary thing keeping me drawing lately, so I'm grateful for that.

truth be told, I don't talk to many people these days. I have to for work, but outside of that, I find myself combating the desire to isolate every day. Last year affected me greatly, and this years already worse... but I'll keep doing the best I can to fight it, however I'm able to.
