Plus I think we all love that lil buddy in the back.
A lil “devil/demon”. A part of you felt demonized. But you accept now.
It tugs on the blankets before perhaps as a part of you pleading with you to get outta bed & just look at yourself.
It does nothing once you do. No harm. No aggression. Tame.

Then finally blowing out those candles (which is just satisfying in general) as if done making this prison hospitable and ready to leave. Looking at one’s reflection & being done.

Anyways. The song sounds very break-up-esque at first. But then I listened to this part which hit me hard.

The words are what I feel & hear from MYSELF. The most cringe of me.

It is worst at night.

When I’m out I feel like everyone can see & knows.
