The corner seat on the bottom floor of a DDZ . Indistinct buildings and a fence can be seen through the window. On the passenger information screen we can see this a train to Rotterdam C, stopping at Amersfoort C, and the a few stations until Gouda, Rotterdam Aleksander and Rotterdam Centraal

Today in unexpected public transport issues: on RRReis busses, you need to press the stop button for two seconds before it will register.

We learned this by ending up a 90 min walk away from where we wanted to be

It seems that @darkphoenix is also closer to an aquarium than us in Amersfoort. It means she’s not in most of Amsterdam, which gives us a train to get on, towards Utrecht.

This is the view from our bus stop this morning. We are sat in a bus shelter, gently talking to each other and enjoying the trees and the twittering of birds.

It’s things like this that make a travel game so worth doing…

A smaller 15km thermo from Utrecht to Amersfoort has eliminated the little corner, and put them on a reasonable location to head north.

Wendy the DBJUNGLESKOG sat next to a window on a TGV Océane-style first class seat. The mini-table is pulled out. On the window is a sign that says “Laissez-vous Rêver” (let yourself delight), and some buildings and plant life can be seen through the window A view of an Océane style first class seat with the tray table open. On it can be seen my 13” laptop, a wireless phone stand/charger in a cup holder, Wattson the charger plugged in to a socket, with some magnetic cables connected to my laptop and the wireless stand/charger, an iPad with an Apple Pencil inserted into the laptop storage area, and a large green plastic sparkling water bottle. There is a pop-out coat hook in the top left corner, and a mirror that has a retractable cover on it in the top centre of the seat
