On Thursday 29th May 2025, Mary Murphy presented a poster at the Public Health Agency conference on #MentalHealth we had put together from the #NIdoc peer support network. The poster demonstrates the efficacy of peer support for people living with #Type1Diabetes here in Northern Ireland #SquadGoals

In today’s episode of my crazy life, I was talking at a @breakthrought1duk.bsky.social event in Belfast. A man was taking photos of one of my slides. His wife was in a photo from 1986 of me and my Gold Duke of Edinburgh group. She was diagnosed with #T1D 5 years ago 🥹 that was a reunion and a half 💙

I never actually imagined I’d be involved in wedding planning yet here I am, sister of the bride, sorting fittings and alterations of outfits for the bridesmen, arranging a cake & wedding favours, and booking hairdresser trials, make up trials and transport for the Bride. The countdown is on 🤪
