The ref here is McNee hunting for patterns within reality, and saying those patterns can change. 1,2,3,4 becomes 1,2,3, Pi. One magician, to whom cosmic beings are only somewhat comprehensible, saying something doesn't contradict or overwrite Chthon's origin as told by an omniscient narrator.
Sir, that statement is confusing. For example in “Mystic arcana”, a series of comics published in 2007; the Elder-Goes are pillars responsible for creating the four essential entities for all reality (Eternity, infinity, Oblivion and death). And the chthon is responsible for Oblivion.

And I really do sympathize, but the level of this discourse has reached self-parody in some zones. Oh, your character can ONLY solo the embodiment of ONE UNIVERSE, what a flop! If they were strong, they'd be able to solo the embodiment of EVERY UNIVERSE and knock down the all-creator's door.

Honestly, this specific beat feels done and done to me, we expect Chthon to do stuff like this, so we should avoid it-you folks deserve more than that. But as for Wanda and Elder Gods, well, there are plenty more than Chthon. And there are plans for both him and them.
I wanted Wanda to interact with other Elder-Gods, imagine Chthon having gone to seek help from his brothers... Utgard-Loki is a powerful Elder-God who emerged along with Chthon, in Ewing's Immortal Thor comic book

A lot of these supposed gotchas are assumptions stated as fact, ascribe literal logic to concepts that run on symbolism, or appear to be based on the idea that if something is printed or said by a character it's empirical fact. I sympathize...
