Sec Collins’s proposed changes may indeed help Veterans. Yet his early moves show he must be more transparent in his next steps or risk pushing Veterans away—and driving us to seek redress. So many did not sacrifice their lives to for the ultra-rich or usher in an era of cronyism and self-dealing.

By using that platform, Secretary Collins weakens my trust in his leadership of the VA. The choice suggests a tilt in favor of corporate interests. This may be just a wisp of smoke, (corruption) but I worry it will grow into four years of fire.

This is the same Mr. Musk who donated more than two hundred fifty million dollars to President Trump’s campaign. And to read others’ reactions to Collins’s statement, I had to sign in yet again, adding even more value to X.
