Love this hotel, the Old Swan in Harrogate. It’s great to see old buildings prospering. Very pleasant stay, and a great place to do some reading with Wee Nero.

I've hatched a plan to run the West Highland Way, which is 96 miles, so just under four marathons in a row. I am in no shape to do this, but it's the type of mad scheme that gets me motivated: running out in the hills, enjoying the fresh air, snow, wind, rain and total exhaustion :)
